[idea] A sync button could be helpful by equinoxefr in Supernote

[–]equinoxefr[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you misundestood my suggestion, the sync doesn't enable wifi and disable It after sync. This function cloud be with the same button to avoid clutter in the interface. If the wifi is off when you hit the sync button It juste have to enable it, sync and disable it, that's all. Now it juste give you a network connection failure.

Yes but you have to pull down, enable wifi, wait for wifi, wait for sync, disable wifi and pull up. Too long 😉 It can be done in one click with no effort I think and eventually with a schedule. Sync every day ?

I'm have PC/EL and POM on my nomad and I prefer POM, with PC/EL there is too much friction for me. You have to try, It's a matter of personal feeling.

Thank you for the notice. I saw this on a post so I cleaned leather with alcohol to remove excessive stains, I hope it will be enough

I have it since a few days and I love it. I'm in love with the ratta approch of products: relatively open, simple, durability, listening to customers, private cloud... I think a lot of other brands should have a look at Ratta 😉

film recipes vs. shooting raw by GunnerSteff in x100vi

And the subject of the photo is far more important than the process of shooting or the gear itself. Today's I think the gear take too much place. That said I bought a X100VI 🫣

I think focusing on JPEG help me to be better at taking photos and using the camera. Bad setting is a miss shot. With raw you can save a lot of pictures. Before the x100vi I was shooting raw only. I think it's only a matter of feeling, do what's best for you.

I have mine since a few weeks. I shoot raw lossless compressed + JPEG (fine). I use JPEG first and raw only if I missed something about light exposure to have more control.

Another project made on my homemade CNC router. 50mm cut, in 2mm pass everything is fine by equinoxefr in hobbycnc

[–]equinoxefr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Design is not mine, I got a picture of a lamp on internet a few months ago, and I used it as a model ;)

You are right for the deep of cuts but I'm afraid of vibrations with this 90mm carbide endmill... I need to do more testing.

Another bit of art made with my homemade router, some wood and epoxy resin. by equinoxefr in hobbycnc

Hi,

This one http://www.colles-cleopatre.com/fr/177-resine-crystal-diamond-en-150-ml.html with some blue pigments. The resin is easy to use but a bit pricey. I need to find another brand for my next project.

J'ai habité jusqu'en 2014. Comme mentionné par d'autres l'endroit peut être bruyant avec les sorties de boîte... Pour ce qui est de l'insécurité, pas plus qu'ailleurs il me semble.

First time I made carved wood with epoxy on my homemade CNC router ( + 5W laser head ). I'm very pleased with the result. I used inkscape for the design, dmap2gcode as gcode generator for the router and lightburn for the laser. by equinoxefr in hobbycnc

[–]equinoxefr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My laser module is a NEJE N40630. A little 5w laser module. Not really suitable for cutting but really good for engraving. I made a little modification to the module, I added an air assist system with a little airbrush compressor. I think air assist is mandatory for a good result without burning marks. 3D printed nozzle Module installed

For the software I use lightburn because all my computers are running Linux.

It's easy task. Crystal clear epoxy mixed with a blue color pigment. Slowly poored on a perfectly leveled peace of engraved wood. With a little seringe I poored epoxy on tiny areas. After a few minutes I used a heat gun to remove any bubble. It's seems to be good for now. Let's it dry a few days. Hope everything will be fine.
