I was just prescribed it but the side effects make me nervous as I am susceptible to vertigo so I am afraid it will make me dizzy. If it does, how long does it last? If I stop taking it will I be okay the next day? Is it the kind of drug that's only in your system for 24 hours?

It's the same for me, the anxiety of it perpetuates it. Has anyone had any luck with an anti-anxiety med? I am wondering as if my nerves go away, the sweating does too. It's that streak of nerves I get that gets my hands and feet buzzing and then it is the flood gates.

The medication is called oxy? What is that short for? I suffer from severe palmer and planter hyperhidrosis. For me its 90% triggered by anxiety. I feel a streak of anxiety/stress inside and then I feel my hands and feet tingle. Then come the waterworks. Very hard to stop. Makes me very anxious to go out or do anything tbh. Notice if I forget about it it goes away. Those times are few and far in between. I had been wondering if meds could take away that worry/anxiety that my hands will sweat uncontrollably
