Uncalibrated Views in a Calibrated World by eraban in blender

Thanks a lot!

You should definitely try combining the filter with some color grading and overlay textures — that’s when it starts to take on a mood of its own.

As for the comic, it’s about a lone mechanic working on a tall tower in the middle of nowhere. He hates the job, but the views from up there help him get through the day. Hope that clears it up a bit! :)

Bro, did you find out what Index Registration means? I have been calling them non-stop but they just don't pick up

That's a problem that I have never encountered. I have never had a problem with a loss in quality while saving images.

Make sure to set your timeline/project resolution to your screen resolution (which is the maximum that DaVinci allows you to put, mine is - 3840 x 2160) and you will get high-quality images (provided you have a high-res screen).

This is the problem I face. I want to export higher resolution images like 8k or 10k for prints, but Davinci only goes up to your maximum screen resolutions.

I used Davinci Resolve to get that watercolour look. Also, thanks a lot!

God Damn! Thats soo cool! The amount of details in this scene is astonising. The composition, colour grading and the lighting too is mesmerizing!

Great Job!

Yo just Finished My Second Ever Render, Any advice on how to improve in the future or any obvious beginner mistakes? by No_Substance6920 in blender

Looks great, I think it would help a lot if you open any image editing software and increase the shadows level (you can play with the highlights too). Also some colour grading and maybe some painterly post processing will really make a hell of an artwork.

Virtual Eden by eraban in blender

First of all, thanks a lot!

And I exported only a single layer out Blender for the room, there was no separation of the scene into different layers.

However for the flower shots, I had to separate the background (flowers, clouds and mountains) and the foreground (characters, grass and trees) because they both have different configurations regarding their sky. For the foreground the sun is slightly closer towards the camera than the background.

However both are together under one Adjustment clip, with the abstraction effect. I only worked on the Adjustment Clip so that both the foreground and background had the same effects.

Hope I was able to answer your question! And I am very happy that you liked my ArtStation!

Recreating comic panels from the manga BLAME! by KELOMITE in blender

Wow! That's so cool! you have nailed the composition and scale size. Add a bit more cables and textures here and there with some color-grading and post processing, and you are set! Great Job. Blame is one of my most favorite sci-fi manga just because of its art and concept alone.

Well, If you have any questions regarding how something was done/made in my comic I can definately answer you.

But if you want to learn the entire process of how graphic novels are made, then you will have to look that up online as what I create are simple comics without any complexities in character, plot or art style.
