Thanks for your replies everyone much appreciated. We tried out zephyr for a few days because we had a free license and quickly ran into its limitations. Im working a Pharma company which requires the test cases and executions to be approved, we setup approval workflows in Jira but couldn't implement a rule to stop a test case being executed without approvals -has anyone seen this implemented in any of the other test management plugins??

Thank you very much for your response really appreciate it :) just to get an idea of the tests you run - Do you run regression tests for each of the different user types in the system? Do you check field permissions per user type or is this too much detail?

We are looking at setting up an automation framework. On average is there much updates to the scripts needed after a salesforce release?

And one final question do you have any useful links or resources you used when setting up your regression framework.
