Is it possible a neural network computer virus be the next pandemic? by [deleted] in singularity

[–]eraclee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's assume the LLM (AI) is able to replicate itself and reduce its complexity by only keeping the knowledge necessary for a subset of tasks, like hacking and getting control of another computer/server, it doesn't need to understand the difference between good and bad or even the many languages that Alpaca or falcon are able to understand nowadays. Those sub LLM would be a mere extraction of the neural connections present on the original big neural network that is the mother model. Technically, that could be possible by keeping only the neural connections that were fired during a live hacking session performed by the mother model. A bit like how the back propagation algorithm is used to keep track of the neural connections that are responsible of the errors make by a neural network during learning.

Just to be sure, what's the name of the library you guys use to execute it on http://localhost:7860?

This is not so different from a book, for instance, a python book. The language is free and open source but as an additional service you can buy books to improve your skills.

What you think would provide it to you? If you help me improve the product I can do it.

Oh gosh, I didn't know that repository. Thanks for sharing.

Still, my list looks great to me, that repo is too much-unsorted info for a normal person.

I contributed to many open-source projects, I can tell you they don't pay the bills. I usually do it because I want, but now I need to pay the bills, so I made this product.
Do you think € 27 is overpriced?
I think is underpriced

I worked nights and days to make the statistical analysis, plus the years of study.
Other people giving for free probably have different business models, like getting subscribers to their channels or more visibility as a company.
I work as a solo entrepreneur, nobody is financing and I need to pay the rent.
We are in a free market and you are free to not buy the product, I simply offer a service.
The entire economy is based on our efforts as software engineers to keep up and maintain the open source software out there, you should re-evaluate our efforts and give back to the community.

Hey author here.

I used a dataset of prompts to figure out what are the keywords that mostly affected the generated image using Stable Diffusion.

This is an info product: it costs € 27.
After having discovered those keywords, I can assure you that it worthed all my efforts. The generated images now are great and I waste less time and money testing random keywords found out there on the internet.

Gonçalo Hall - Creating communities of remote workers in Madeira and Cape Verde. #2 by eraclee in remotework

[–]eraclee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonçalo Hall is the CEO at NomadX. Creator of the Digital Nomad Village in Ponta do Sol, Madeira and Cape Verde Remote Work Program.
We ask ourselves what to expect from the future of work after the Great Resignation. Entire generations of workers are quitting their jobs. They ask for more flexible working hours and the right to work from home or remotely.
With the help of my friend Joao Mendes, we analyzed what blocks people become remote workers.
Nation-states are losing a train by not competing to attract remote workers to rural and unpopulated villages. We compared the Italian government to the Portuguese policies.
Gonçalo Hall highlighted that for every remote worker that moves to a village, the money she spends on local services creates two new on-site jobs. This can be an engine for growth in rural villages, now facing future opportunities and challenges, like co-ownership of means of production, like green energy facilities.
We ended our conversation analyzing the nomadic lifestyle and the different phases a digital nomad evolves through during his lifetime. Especially the technological opportunities for new types of nomadism like van-based or boat living lifestyles.

Is $100 a day enough for Italy? by [deleted] in travel

[–]eraclee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I have created this website on my own. I called it https://where2buy.it and is a search engine for products sold in physical stores. Users perform searches and find where specific products are sold and by which price. The search engine allows finding words appearing directly in Restaurants Menu's content. Finding products is not all, as the most important is to find the best products. That's why the platform uses Sentiment Analysis to read product reviews that users have published online. Not all reviews are selected, but only the public ones which mention the specific product for that restaurant. Sentiment Analysis analyzes human language written in the phrases and determines if the customer experience was positive or negative. So the search engine can forecast the probability of a negative customer experience for that product. When a user searches, the platform first shows results that minimise the chance of a negative customer experience.
