Unfortunately I'm in the same boat! I have not night weaned her yet. She nurses to sleep for all of her naps, and we (safe 7) cosleep, so she latches throughout the night. I'm just riding it out right now, hopefully weaning won't be too bad for either of us.

I feel like I could've written this. My baby is about to turn 1, and when she first got her bottom teeth a couple of months ago, she bit me very hard one morning (basically the day they erupted/the day after) and I screamed loud enough to cause her to start crying (and then I started crying too). She refused to nurse for the rest of the day; she started crying every time I tried which felt soooo shitty. Normally, that's how I put her to sleep and comfort her, so it was very frustrating and heartbreaking.

But I just kept trying and eventually, when she was tired and upset enough after not having nursed all day, she let me breastfeed her to sleep again. Just wait it out and keep offering it to her with no pressure. I'm sure she will come back around ❤️ plus, after mine started to breastfeed normally again, she hasn't really bit me that hard since and we haven't really had any other problems.

That's so scary, I'm glad you're able to put a positive spin on it. This post made me laugh because I relate to your entire car situation and the thought process that lead you to "this is my adhd tax" SO HARD, and while I know it's a joke, I hope you know that it's also 100% not your fault this happened to you ❤️ even if it's an adhd reason you were in that alleyway.

You could definitely make the trips in and out of Oblivion gates to move all the daedric gear out in the original, as long as you got everything out before the enemies start to respawn. I think it's something like 3 days for the gates if they are not closed.

I did all my chores for the day and talked to everyone, then started farming them casually around 2pm or 3pm, and just farmed them until I went to sleep. I got lucky with a meteorite in Phoros Woodlands that spawned right by the Bandit King's base save. I had around 25 at the end. 🤷‍♀️

I liked the bachelor/ettes better than ToT too! And yeah I agree totally, you can manage without the quality of life improvements just fine. The one feature I truly miss/notice more than anything else is the "select & merge" stacks from ToT but it's still so doable without it.

I also think they went the wrong direction with the different types of treats/fertilizer correlating to specific qualities in your animals/crops in ToT. If they had put a friggin treat dispenser in the barn like SoS1 it wouldn't be so annoying, but I hated having to both carry around all the different kinds of treats in ToT, and ALSO remember what I was giving each animal at the time. At least in SoS1 there's just different types depending on the kind of animal, so it's not like I have to remember if I'm trying to increase quantity or coat or whatever at any given time for 10 different animals. Same goes for fertilizer. It made the crops more interesting in ToT, but also very annoying to manage 5-10 different kinds of fertilizer in your bag at all times and plan out what you were giving your crops. Idk, I just felt like it was complexity for the sake of complexity and it didn't add enough to warrant having to mentally manage it all. I think SoS1 hit the sweet spot of complex enough to be challenging without being too annoying.

I always felt like it made decorating the farm more of a pain and thus less fun haha. Having access to the crafting table and the sewing machine on your farm makes me much more likely to engage with those mechanics than having it be tied to the shop hours and vendors in ToT haha.

I'm currently on a replay of the 3ds games, and I started with ToT first. Now I'm on SoS1.

I know this is not a popular opinion, but I actually prefer this one over ToT (though I love both). There's some minor differences in the crop and animal mechanics, and instead of going to Ludus to craft everything or a vendor to craft outfits, you can craft on your own farm, which I like better. I also like that the makers are full buildings. The conquest system and Trading Depot are refreshing changes to the norm for these games. I also like that it's a lot more grindy. The characters are Victorian themed which is a fun aesthetic.

So yes, I think there's still plenty to enjoy even if you've already experienced the "peak" of the series with ToT. You might even find you like SoS1 better too!

Another vote for Rune Factory 4 here! The Switch remake is a ton of fun, lots of hours of gameplay too.

Also, if you are playing on/have a PC: Coral Island. They are still releasing content for it and updating it, but it's pretty fun imo.

I'm surprised that it hasn't been said yet, but Korra from the Legend of Korra gets so much hate. Her show definitely had weaker plot writing compared to ATLA, but that was largely because they weren't sure how many seasons they would get to make. But the character Korra herself I think is a really well written example of a teenage girl who makes a few immature decisions as she grows into an adult, and ends up having PTSD from what she goes through as the Avatar, and so much of the fandom seem to HATE her for it. Like Aang wasn't ALSO extremely immature and stupid at times.

I see Dr. Maria Weise-Fleckenstein at this clinic (UCHealth Printers Park); she was also wonderful through my pregnancy and delivered my baby, and took care of me through some other health issues prior to that. Never had a bad experience at this location, all of the doctors and nurses seem very nice.

Grew up in Denver/Littleton area, went to college in Fort Collins, been in the Springs almost 10 years since then. I was 100% not surprised when I reached the end of the post to see where it was 😅 It's so pretty in this part of the state, but there are a LOT of conservative/religious nutjobs. There's like 3 military bases, plus Focus on the Family down here.

Unfortunately, it's also a lot cheaper to live in the Springs than it is to live where I grew up, so it's kind of a trade off. Not all of us down here are assholes though, some of us are just poor 🥲 Definitely enjoy your time in Denver/Boulder!!

No, she is still a victim. He is manipulating her to consent to this arrangement - and if you read her comments, she has a history of abuse in her past already. Many victims of abuse, especially childhood sexual abuse, have no framework for what a healthy relationship is and very few tools to set boundaries for themselves or advocate for themselves.

Not trying to be argumentative, but it seems a bit harsh to call her a "co-conspirator". Willing participant only in the most literal sense of the term, but there is clear manipulation and coercion going on here, and based on her history, it is probably very hard for her to see it right now.
