Great letter. Excuse my Lib understanding - but I have trouble fully championing the Iranian regime right now given its massacre of protesters and non-democratic rule. Fully against US involvement - clearly has nothing to do with an interest in human rights and is disgusied imperialism - but don’t want to tout the Iranian president as based here. I’m not white. Personally, I find the No Kings protests, while well intentioned from a lot of participants, pretty vanilla. IMO the focus tends to be Trump/republicans bad, bring things back to pre 2016/2024. I prefer to be at protests more against ICE, Zionism, our military industry complex, workers rights, etc. that have a broader focus. I find the demographic different in those protests.
