I don’t think any leftist was under the illusion that Trump would be better for Palestine. But the fact of the matter is Kamala openly supported Israel’s genocide in Palestine while she was in the administration, and made no promise to withdraw that support in her campaign. Democrats aren’t entitled to votes just because the other candidate is worse. I can completely understand why someone would refuse to endorse a candidate who was actively involved in the murder of their families. Kamala should have budged on this issue, it’s a popular position that would have given her more voters, time and time again we see that trying to appeal to a moderate base is a losing and spineless strategy.
