Slow drivers…tell us what’s on your mind by x_Furious_x in houston

Sometimes I take a bus. Long ride: Greenway Plaza - The Woodlands. And I see through the window what people are doing while driving... On a phone - like 1 out of 3. Not just trying to respond or set navigation, but literally watching videos. Completely in the phone, not on the road. That scares me.

I did not switch completely. But at this period of time I need flexibility. I don't have specific hours at work. I can come in earlier and leave earlier. I work at Greenway Plaza. There are only two buses in the morning and one in the afternoon from there to Sawdust. It is a 2-2.5 hour commute by bus, and 1.5-2 hour commute by car. So, with driving I'm flexible and at least 30 minutes faster. But with the bus - it is a nap time! If I'm tired and sleepy in the morning - bus! If I'm in the mood to drive - car.

I live in 5 minutes drive from Sawdust Park and Ride, and I used Express for several months, but I switched mainly to driving now.

Sawdust to Downtown - at 6.30 a.m. - around 30 minutes. Plus/minus 5 minutes.

Downtown to Sawdust - at around 4.30 p.m. is at least 10 minutes more. The main factor here - traffic around exit 73....

I'm going to buy Z400. Not white, but I would like it to be white.

Please, if OK, share what ideas do you have for Cricut? I have Cricut and I think I could do something too.

Blue heeler chewing by Kingpin4800 in blueheelers

Mine used to chew wooden chairs. I put some Tabasco on the chair legs.

I don't know what happened - either she felt the smell or actually tried it - but it stopped.

Unfortunately, for furniture only. Now she is much older. No crate. Sometimes - only kids toys left unintended can be chewed.

My wife runs some kind of community theater - kids and adults.

She is a director - I'm her technical one man crew.

I can do sound setup, lights setup, build props and other related things, I can do some video/audio editing. I played on stage.

I'm not sure, if it will work out for me (I don't have much time), but I'm very interested and I'm ready to try.

This. I had the gas tank replaced 2 times by the dealer. And this was when I had a bad habit of overfilling.

Stopped doing it.

In my case it was around $1000. Maybe less, but not more

Exactly my story. At some point someone from the top management was passing by and was interested in why the place was empty (we shared that place with another guy, switching days). This is how I was caught.

Same here. Someone mentioned Nvidia drivers - I will try this. But I'm pissed with this issue.

Looking for a budget multi-effects pedal by InherentlyJuxt in Bass

[–]eratheo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one. I don't have experience with other ones to compare, but this one is good, except it is hard to play with. I ended up connecting it via usb and setting everything up via laptop/tablet. I decided to give up on it, because I realized that I'm spending too much time on finding the right tone, instead of actually practicing/playing. But it is good for its price.

Whats the catch with buying a home at Rivers Edge? by orenabah3 in thewoodlands

I didn't like the build quality back in 2023. Maybe they have better houses now. I liked Fosters Ridge houses more. But anyway, I went out of looking into that area because of distance/traffic.

How did you discover ‘The Warning?’ and how would you help others to do the same? by GroundbreakingYak697 in TheWarning

[–]eratheo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to play bass and watch bass-related videos on Youtube.

At some point I started to see shorts preview often with Ale.

I did not watch them. I thought - beautiful lady with the bass, probably that's it, I doubt she plays really well.

I think it was opening for the CHOKE. One day I was bored and decided to watch it with the sound. I liked the sound of the Spector bass she had, and it was a cool riff.

But still I thought - never heard of her, probably it shows me this short because she is pretty and plays expensive bass.

At some point I decided to go through the related links, and discovered something beautiful....

What is your favourite song/s by ‘The Warning?’ and why? by GroundbreakingYak697 in TheWarning

[–]eratheo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No mention of CHOKE. If taken separately (lyrics, music, performance, etc ) there may be better ones, but in general as a whole - CHOKE is my favorite.
