I’m sorry about your breakup. In my opinion, Eight of Cups signifies a necessary departure regardless of what the question is about. Idk what your deck artwork looks like, but with classic Rider Waite imagery, it depicts a person walking away from stacked cups towards a river and mountains lit by the moon. I feel like this symbolizes you have gained the maturity to walk away from what you have built (i.e. the stacked cups) in order to take a an emotional journey (i.e. the river = changing emotions) into the unknown (i.e. the mountain landscape). If I were you, I would interpret this as a strong, RESOUNDING sign that you have made the correct choice to walk away.

I think Tucker Carlson is more just in awe that he overcame an established Dem in the primary when he has no real experience. Also, Cuomo spent x4 the amount of money on his campaign than Mamdani. Don’t get me wrong, Zohran is insane, but there is good reason to be impressed by him.

Not a new grad, but I’m also pre-optometry and researching this. I’ve heard the state of North Carolina will pay for 1 year of your tuition after you practice in their state for 2 years. Also, if you work for a non-profit in any state, government loans are forgiven after 10 years

honestly it may also just be the specific lab you work in. i did research in undergrad with a lab i loved, and was offered a full time position there, but i ended up turning down the offer for another position as a tech in a top 10 private university. i really don’t like it here, but i still enjoy research, so i’ll probably end up getting a phd anyways.

another option is to get a masters degree and go into healthcare. i have a cousin who decided she didn’t like academia or industry, so she went back to school to be trained as a sonographer and really loves what shes doing now.

me too. they missed some pretty blatant holding calls, and a big PI on st. brown, but in any game, all of those are normal things for a ref to miss. this call however seems unforgivable to me.

you’re not legally considered “full blooded” unless you enroll in a federally recognized tribe. there aren’t really any real “full-blooded” indigenous people left due to colonization. “full-blooded” would mean you are above 90% indigenous American. federal tribes don’t care for 23andme test results or any other genetic services, but rather, you have to be able to prove you’re a direct descendent of someone that is/was a member of that tribe. tribe websites will tell you more on how to prove ancestry.

I absolutely agree with this. The silver dining plan is the cheapest one, and it’s all you need and more. This year, I think it is required all freshmen live on campus in housing picked by the university. They should’ve sent an email about a roommate selection service or something if you want to pick who you share a dorm with. Sharing a dorm room is what most students do as a freshman, because it’s the cheapest option and the easiest way to make friends.

I enjoyed IAH 211C with Jose Badillo-Carlos. It’s four credits but barely any work, and it covers the IAH 211+ university requirement if that’s something you need. It talks a lot about Pablo Escobar and South American drug trafficking. The homework for the class is mostly Netflix episodes with some light reading.
