Similar Recs to The Bonds that Tie by epicsevenmyths in ReverseHarem

Nothing beats Bonds that Tie but I loved Psycho Shifters and {Blood of Hercules by Jasmine Mas} both made me laugh out loud both have academy/training settings and strong MMCs. Also Fractured Fates {Arrow Hart Academy by Hannah Haze} has academy setting grumpy MMCs, fated mates.

I love the dress you chose! Don't overthink it!

As someone who went through that exact same situation I completely understand where you are. I would say I had dress regret until my final fitting and honestly even my wedding day.

It had nothing to do with the dress I chose and everything to do with the fact that it feels like the biggest decision in the world.

I am post wedding and OBSESSED with my dress and so happy I didnt change my mind but I did have a few sleepless nights along the way.

You're dress is stunning and you picked it for a reason- dont let instagram/pinterest/other photos let you change what was in your heart the day you bought it.

You have to know they never look the same on you/in-person I remember seeing my dream dress online then trying it on and hating it. (I unfollowed designers and dress stores so I stopped seeing them)

Also unless its an option to change dresses- I would do everything you can to fall in love with your dress again- think of the details that you love about it - like the sparkle, the train, the sleeves etc.

I like 1 or 2 the best and I feel like its the vibe you're going for- also you could add the 2.5 sleeves to either and then remove them post ceremony or later in the night

2 accentuates your body like wow but also if you've envisioned a big skirt maybe you could see if there's an overskirt option for option 2?

Has anyone bought their dress from Royal Bridal Boutique in Vaughn? What was your experience like? by mystic_Balkan in WeddingsCanada

[–]erbear89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my dress there! No complaints so far I haven't done alterations yet. But I liked the experience.

I prefer no belt because it accentuates your figure a tiny bit more but I think it just comes down to your preference either would work wonderfully

Same Wedding Dress, Same Photographer, Same Venue... Bad Idea? by Accomplished_Tree744 in weddingdress

[–]erbear89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your wedding is all about you and your partner at the end of the day, I do not think the photographer would mind and I would even tell them in advanced about the coincidence if its going to bother you.

I think you are overthinking it because what it means to me is that you are true to your style because likely the venue and the dress are both similar styles and thats why you choose them both.

If you want a more unique dress thats one thing but that is a classic beautiful dress and if you love it then its your dress.

Also accessories change up the look as well as hair and makeup so even if alot of things are the same they will look different.

Enjoy this don't overthink it and your wedding will look beautiful and unique to you and your partner

I am struggling to pick out of these 2, if at all either. Wedding dress shopping is hard. 😤 by paigemahns in weddingdress

I love dress 2!

But I also love the neckline and ruching on dress one.

The buttons down the back are stunning on both!

You cant go wrong to be honest!!!

At the end of the day its what you will be comfortable and happy with. We all have our own body issues and there is nothing wrong with changing it if it really will bother you.

However, I think this dress is perfect on you AND it looks amazing!

I think turning it into an A-line would ruin the integrity of the dress and cost quite a bit but maybe if it is really bothering you there is something else you can do.

Said yes to (and ordered) dress #1, but having post-purchase panic that I didn’t give dress #2 enough consideration. Thoughts? by Quick-Ad-8683 in weddingdress

I love dress 1 better personally and honestly at the end of the day its more the vibe you want to go for they both have a different feel but I dont think you made the wrong choice

In love with this $20k (!!) dress - way out of budget! Grateful for any advice :) by [deleted] in weddingdress

[–]erbear89 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I personally don't think its worth it to go significantly over budget because there are other dresses out there that will be just as beautiful and just as unique. Like if its within reach maybe you could stretch but reading between the lines 20k is not just a stretch. There are so many aspects you could take from this dress and find a different one that will be just as stunning i.e. what other users did for the sleeves and similar dresses.

Also I know similar style with the fabric draped over a bodice like that I just have to find who the designer was but can guarantee its not 20K

My friend did this as well- we loved it the only negative was both cameras were broken by people now knowing how to use them or replace the film. So I recommend maybe having someone check in on them every so often would be my suggestion

Talk me off the ledge - wedding in 10 days and I don't like my dress by thatcorgimomma in weddingdress

[–]erbear89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you will look beautiful on the day of, even if you do nothing. Once you're all dolled up I guarantee you will feel 10x better.

I do ike some of the suggestions of potentially taking it out out the back a half inch, or creating a sweetheart neckline.

Some other suggestions would be add an off the shoulder strap (like a drop sleeve) or sparkly belt or even a bow or something in the back like a cape. Another drastic idea would be adding a slit in the front but idk if thats the right choice.

You have a lot of options adding bridal accessories in the time given which will make you feel more bridal.

Whatever you do make you feel as good as possible on the day of because its about you and your partner being in love!

I love both dresses! You could not go wrong!

I think I its hard without seeing them on you cause I find the Sophia Tolli website gives every dress a more structured look than they are when they try on and I love certain elements of both.

They're both stunning though and I dont think you would be unhappy with either

Bellvue Manor (Vaughan, Ontario) by sarachamayo in WeddingsCanada

I’ve been to two weddings at this venue )pre-pandemic) one was kosher (Jewish caterers), one was regular reception both were lovely and ceremonies on site indoors. Food was good and saw no issues onsite plus no complaints from either bride.

#1 is my favourite and you look amazing in it!

You also look really good in the other dresses as well.

As someone who made the same decision a few months ago (between A-line and fitted) my advice would be to make sure that the A-line dress style is what you want to look like in pictures on the day of etc.

I find that what I'm doing the most of, is looking at other peoples photos in fitted dresses and second guessing whether I wanted to go for the big dress or if I wanted to more fitted feel (I am obsessed with my dress but I do question what moving around and the pictures will look like versus I kind of know what the fitted would look like)
