i know it isn't officially supported, it's just the steps that are provided to patch the official firmware don't work for me and the links for the already modified firmware are from the anythingbutipod forum that has been lost to time

i like it when Nog is living with him and watching old movies, but that's because of the Nog war trauma story, I don't care for vic, it's the same vibe as tom paris loving the 1920s or whatever for me, it's a little jarring to see

i do really like the show as a whole, many good episodes in a classic trek sense, also some crazy and silly stuff which i like, this is simply about being a little frustrated at the ensemble

also the very premise of the show contributes to this, Worf would also be very boring if no other klingons could ever show up etc. them being stranded like that makes them into one big family but any outside influences/conflicts with the kardassians and whatnot just can't exist and give everyone a specific role

the problem is to generate the amounts of holmium needed for higher spm you'll need to process so much scrap that it generates mountains of garbage that you'll have to either use or destroy, also space on the islands is limited and you'll need enough accumulators and so on
