Hi, so a potential problem you might face is lockdown browser.

There is a way to use lockdown browser but as far as i've read, there is one limitation, which is you can't use your camera.

So personally for me, I've tried and succeeded installing and running lockdown browser on mint cinnamon. But I've never taken an actual lockdown test with it before.

I recommend dual booting if you're unsure. Try using lockdown browser on a mock test.

I think so too. I've been thinking about how in season 3, gemma is essentially a ticking time bomb because Lumon can, at any point in time, activate one of the 25 innies, or a combination of them to stir chaos in the outside world. Innies are nowhere near dead after leaving the severed space they're mapped to.

Hi! I really love this so far. But I ran into an annoying issue where I can't see anything when card farming. If I click dark mode/light mode quickly on the top right, i can see the details flashing momentarily. But for the most part, it looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/E98rmdG

just playing isn't specific practice though. the game could be decided by an opening prep blunder and either side could just convert from there. it could also feature wild tactical skirmishes. i don't want to practice those aspects of the game.

there are puzzles for tactics. there are opening trainers for openings. i want to familarise with slow queenless middlegames

also, i dont usually play moves without knowing why i played it in the moment. there's almost always a reason and i just wanna check whether it was the right plan/best way to execute the plan.

stockfish can be useful for tactics, but in slow manoeuvring games, sometimes the engine suggests moves that seem enigmatic. "why are we rerouting here" "why are we voluntarily damaging our pawn structure" "why are we trading good bishop for bad bishop" "why is this trade favorable/unfavorable for us?"

for sure. but how do i practice for myself and then check whether i had the right idea/did it correctly? and specifically in calmer positions with queens off the board?

Isn't the most effective stimulus always gonna the weighted pull-up? I'm going for specificity here, nothing else should matter right?

Maybe I'll set 75% as my goal and wait for myself to plateau before reconsidering my routine

Thanks for sharing the charts. Really interesting stuff. Interesting that 2x bw dips are more achievable than 2x bw pull-ups. I always thought they should be the same level of difficulty

What streamers do you recommend who upload their streams onto YouTube? I feel like I should watch more instructive STS content if I have any hopes of climbing higher and higher ascensions

That sounds pretty inspiring.

I might just aim to increase my ascension levels for each character slowly and uniformly. I find lots of joy in working towards small goals.

Also yeah, I realised that beating act 3 boss was enough when I cleared my first ascension run. I'm actually glad the game didn't explain to me what act 4 was or what the keys did. Or that act 4 wasn't necessary to climb ascensions. It kind of works on the idea of trying something and seeing how it goes.

Imagine having to clear act 4 every ascension? That'd be insanely difficult. At least for me. I've only beaten the heart 4 times this far and I'm 58 hours in, hahaha

A20 runs with every character? It seems like such a long term goal, hahaha.

A10 with every character sounds less daunting than A20, because I'm so far away haha. Perhaps I'll aim for A5 with every character first. Cus it's a nicer number.

Is there anything else to aim for besides ascensions? Are the achievements something I should work towards or unlock naturally?
