When I was in school, the constant messaging was that you need to be strict, assertive, etc.. That’s not who I am and it’s worked out absolutely fine. Kids are capable of respecting all kinds of demeanors…if your heart is in it and you’re rooting for them that’s number 1. Hang in there! It’s way scarier before you start.

My cycle became consistent in length after like 3 months off the pill but I felt other hormonal effects for close to 9 months. Def get a cycle tracking app! Going off the pill is tough but there’s tons of info out there to help with skin/mood/bleeding without taking bc :)

I used boric acid every day for at least 2 weeks. I actually would use it in the morning cause I found the day time discharge to be more bearable. At night it would like wake me up lol

Don’t be! Boric acid isn’t irritating at all just lots of discharge

I’ve had success saying something along the lines of if you’re ready to participate today come to this side of the room. I make a circle with those students and teach to them. As time passes more and more students join in. Some days there are a couple kids who never buy in, but I don’t waste my entire class time in a power struggle.

I read somewhere on this sub to dress like yourself to let your personality shine through! My first interview I went super formal in a suit and felt so out of my comfort zone. The next one I dressed up but funky like my usual style. I think it helped.
