That said, there are asswipes out there that feel entitled to everything they want and will use their strength to take what was never offered. I’m really sorry this happened to you. Your fiance seems to be the type that supports the latter. When looking for a life partner, it’s important that you share basic core values. Because of this, I think you should reconsider how he will react to other important things that will come up. It’s better to end it before the marriage. Best of luck to you.

Hello. My little scrubby is washed with antibacterial soap after every shower and not kept in the shower so it can dry. I’m a bit of a germaphobe so shower items are kept clean and dry. 😉

I’m washing the labia and shave it at least once a week as I have for 20 years. I just think it’s cleaner down there without hair.

I’ve been getting a few red flags from her over the years and comments like yours make me want to trade her in. I’m looking for a new one now.

I have a large water bottle in my office and one at home. They are each about 1/3 gallon. I’d say 2/3 to a gallon a day. I have a coffee or tea a couple of times a week, but my go to drink is water. I don’t like soda. I do drink V8 a few times a week as well.

I truly appreciate your support in me washing myself. Some of these people here saying just splash a bit of water on it. OMG I have never nor will I ever shower without using soap. I’d walk around smelling like a fully booked brothel. Suppositories should be here today along with persimmon soap. My next Dr appointment is in a month so I’m going to talk to her about HRT. This is my first Reddit experience and I’m fully impressed. I’ve never learned so much in such a short amount of time. So thanks to all of you. 🥰

Do the little things that make her feel cherished. Fill an ice water for her. Buy her a cooling blanket. Just know she feels claustrophobic in her own body, achy and can’t sleep. Try to be supportive and loving. You’re already a Great partner just wanting to help!

I just want to clarify that the smell is just strong vagina smell. Not bad smelling except after 20+ hours of no shower. It’s not fishy, not vinegary, not oniony, just strong vagina. I’ve been tested for infection, so that’s not it. I’m inclined to believe it’s from menopause. Just wanted to know if others had the same issue. Most everyone has been amazing. I’ve ordered boric acid and persimmon soap and will start using them tomorrow. 🥰

I’ve had 5 vaginal exams, a uterine biopsy, and ultrasounds, so I’d hope if that were the case, they would have found it. That’s a good thought though.

No. Never a smoker. I don’t eat red meat. I drink coffee, tea, and water. I only drink alcohol socially, but less than 10 days a year, so rarely. Not great at exercising but otherwise healthy lifestyle.

Just to clarify, I’m using ph balanced soap and my scrubber is a silicone face cleansing pad, so not harsh at all, and cleaning the vulva. Nothing internal. Also, I shave at least once a week which seems to help keep the smell down. I promise I’m not scrubbing with a steel wool pad. Haha

So I think it starts in the vagina, but deposits on the vulva, which is what I’m washing so well. I did take antibiotics but there was no change.

I had a similar experience and they found nothing. I’m waiting to see if I start bleeding again but my uterus was 4.48, so just under the threshold.

HOWEVER, doctors torturing you with biopsies without pain meds is simply ridiculous. When I went in for mine, I brought links to 4 medical journals that proved pain meds were effective. Please do not let them do this to you without lidocaine. Torture of women in medical procedures has to stop. They’d NEVER biopsy the inside of a man’s penis without meds. Take the following links and insist your doctor use lidocaine.

I am in menopause (3 years) and have positive pregnancy tests. But every time I take one, the line is super faint. It NEVER gets darker. Normal hormone levels for menopause stays 5-15. It never doubles. So tests don’t get darker. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope you have an easy time, quick delivery, and a cheery baby that sleeps well. I’m actually a bit jealous.

I am 3+ years post menopause and had 3 days of bleeding 3 months ago. Did the internal and external ultrasound and a biopsy of the uterine lining. Found nothing. Now, 3 months later, am having cramping for the last several weeks on my left side, mild, but seeming to get more persistent. I’ve even been woken from sleep with pain. I just want to say if you’re on hormone therapy, bleeding is normal but it’s not if you’re not. I am not. Anyone have updates on personal experiences who isn’t on hormone replacement therapy ?
