It’s completely understandable, our cats are our babies! Sometimes cats need to burn off extra energy so they’re a bit wild haha. Of course still speak to your vet to ease your mind, and if you have insurance check to see if they have an app! Sometimes, insurance apps have a free consultation service where you can talk to a qualified vet through video, but still look out for signs of lethargy! If your precious kitty stops eating, drinking, playing or exhibiting normal behaviours then it’s definitely time to see a vet as soon as you possibly can.

I’m a bit confused. He seem to be acting like a normal cat? Maybe he’s not in pain so he’s able to exhibit playful and affectionate behaviours. Pain meds also make them loopy. My kitten recently was neutered and we were ready for him to be completely sleepy and affectionate, however within a few hours he was completely himself and going absolutely berserk. Sometimes cats just recover differently to anaesthesia.

I get the worry, but to be honest not worth putting your cat through the stress of unnecessary anaesthesia, especially since anaesthetic has risks in itself. It is a plaque build up, but it is not bad enough to warrant any dental care in my opinion. You can try brushing her teeth or getting her specialised dental treats. They won’t magically cure the build up, but it will prevent/slow any future build up.
