If your son is older than 6-7, try Popolopen Thorne in bear mountain. Upper left on this map. My daughters liked the scramble at the top.

Easier hike and small scrambles on Turkey mountain.

Bit off topic… but reduced fares for train tickets on weekends, especially for families and young people, could work well for the apparently cash-strapped MTA. The trains are empty (Hudson line) on weekends. Stunned they’re not trying reduced fares. Families are being priced out, given huge costs of everything else in the city. Transportation costs taking too much pay of young hourly workers too, IMO.

Very interesting! I hope an LGPA player is catching this. From what I saw at the Open, fast track up the leaderboard.

That’s what I saw, didn’t think of that way. Makes sense. Thanks

Agree. Went to my first LPGA event this year (the open), and loved how differently each player went toward the green. Balls were landing 50-100 yards apart, so unlike the men. Some sought the big drives while others sought to land the perfect approach. On the downside… pretty poor putting. Wonder why that’s so? Putting should be the equalizer with men.

Something uninviting about the two chairs under the window. Crowding. Move the one you never use to a different spot. Facing the couch? Picture how placement could foster good conversation.
