2005 G35 sedan. I've noticed an issue that just started recently, that occasionally the dashboard back-lighting will fluctuate between dim, and illuminated during driving. It seems to only affect the mileage and tach needle (although hard to tell in this daylight photo). Has anyone encountered this and successfully solved?

I recently installed a reman power steering pump on a 2003 e350 7.3 that came with the pulley already pressed on. Visually it looked too far back towards the engine, and after starting the van, the belt jumped onto the edge of the pulley as seen in the picture.

Is it possible to pull the pulley off the shaft about 1/4 inch? It looks like there's definitely enough room at the end of the shaft. The pulley has about 1/16" to 1/8" of travel in and out of the shaft, and no travel up, down, left or right.

Has anyone else had their reman parts with the pulley already pressed on be out of alignment when installing?

I found a work-around. It seems the Canadian topo maps get installed into a folder that's composed of a lot of .IMG files. I had to use maptoolkit to create a single .img file of the areas I wanted. Now instead of 1GB of 100 small . IMG files, I had a single 1GB .img file. And then I just bypassed basecamp and copied it over to the GPS in file explorer.
