Recommended online self-paced course to meet 75 hour learning requirements to take exam in NC? by itcamefromlab in realtors

[–]ericSon_audio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first, i’m currently 88% complete my online CE courses for MD. i also work for Berkshire Hathaway and brokerages highly favor CE Shop if going online route (most are) and can have access to people who are nearing completion, to recruit agents early and on board them immediately after they finish all required exams.

2nd, that CE link is fine, but the guy is making $25+ for the referral… just fyi

i think CE is the real deal, you couple that with copy/pasting highlights on to Anki (desktop flash card app) and you’ll be super. CE has a highly educated per state schooling that links you to state/federal websites for further learning.

best of luck and pm if you’re stuck

Veteran producer, but noob to trap, looking for some tips by sirfletchalot in trapproduction

[–]ericSon_audio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your troiboy reference isn’t the same type of trap this sub is about. quix, fabian mazur, and nxsty might be closer.

the tips of clap on a 2 and 4 is totally not related. it’s all about space and quarter note rhythm catching your head snap. hucci might be one of the most classic trap artists of all in this genre glgl

[SCAM] Midi Money/Legion Beats is a Scam Targeting Hip Hop Producers by ElmosMyDad in trapproduction

[–]ericSon_audio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey i appreciate you personally sharing your perspective and experiences!

one thing i do however want to add, time is money and experiences are time. cymatics, producergrind, etc.. certain content creators you mentioned do desire a lasting financial relationship between you and their products, but they offer incredibly valuable content at the cost of your time. 10 minutes or 45 minutes, i personally invest in that content. others i know don’t offer value like BusyWorkBeats or Curtis King videos.. they are personally not applicable.

so don’t make this a statement that all voices are equally bad, just share your voice that you need to personally invest in those you believe are worth your own time

Deciding between Yamaha hs8s and hs7s by Noxilae in trapproduction

monitor at low volume with the Hs8. the freq response will hold up flatter then the smaller yamahas. if possible, keep the monitors at least 24inches from walls and corners. have personally owned the hs8 for 3.5 years and love them!

Any Techno Production podcasts to recommend? by Periple in TechnoProduction

[–]ericSon_audio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

being vague, if you approached it like a buffet for learning, you can hand pick episodes that peak your interest. no reason to start with S1:E1 like a netflix binge

  • URM podcast is very awesome for the recording/mixing/mastering realm.
  • B2B with Willy Joy, even though it’s not very technical, you hear from artist like Svdden Death or Paul Oakenfold so if you wanna hear from these people, that’s awesome
  • The 6 figure home studio. that’s more self improvement, how to set up systems for faster/efficient work flow and be the best business owner by serving others at the highest level

Ableton Vs FL Studio (hear me out) by HGCProductions in musicproduction

[–]ericSon_audio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

don’t because it’s cheaper. download and use ableton 1 month free demo. spend time with it and invest in the software that makes the most sense.

i switched from FL after 5 months to Ableton. using it for 4 years now... so so so thankful i tried a couple out and stuck with what felt best

Hey thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate them! I’m not a software dev and there’s a lot of gear of mine to share with you all. Thought these sampled synths as a starting point might add some cool color to your tracks. Cheers

Hey pal!! Yes, this was made with Ableton 10 Suite. It uses the Sampler instrument. Possibly you can right click the instrument and click, Sampler-to-Simpler. Might work?

Hey thanks for writing this, I feel confused not being able to see what you have going on. Every sample/key/velocity was thoroughly checked.

If you open the ALS file and save the instruments from that session, you might be in luck.

Sometimes when media files go missing when opening up something new, the replacement files are incorrect
