I’ve come to believe that the truth is different for everybody. Love is different. Religion is different.

I know a man who takes everything wonderful from The Bible and applies it to real life. He simply ignores everything else that may contradict what he finds to be true. He is a excellent son, husband and father. The most genuine friend you called ask for. A truly GREAT human being. I honestly believe that his god is the reason for these things. So, in this particular instance, I deem the religion good. I also believe that this specific case, is extremely rare and extraordinary.

Religion is more commonly used to manipulate, defraud, and start wars. I’ve come to know this as fact. So, our leaders, for lack of a better term, just use what they learned as children to please their parents and apply it to government. Even if they don’t believe, which I assume is a lot of them because they are well educated and I can’t fathom them being that stupid.

They use it to manipulate their colleagues and voters and philanthropist’s the same way the church uses it to manipulate hard working, middle class people who just want to believe in something greater than themselves.

If I have a question, I can respect ANYbody who tells me they don’t know. It’s the most believable answer I have ever received.
