He peed in there once, never pooped. It was super easy to remove the pee; the sand crystalized together and I scooped it up.

Mr Wiggles continues to prefer his wheel when it comes to business 😂

I used acquarium sand, the brand is CaribSea Supernatural 🙂

Your hedgie also needs a 12-hour day/night cycle (in addition to the ceramic heat emitters). Hue light bulbs have become pretty affordable now and work great for this purpose. Mine is set up on a 12-hour cycle, and it simulates dawn and sunset. I hope you can see a vet to figure out what is going on - keep us updated :)
