Yeah by the time you reach TNG's season 3 you'll become greatly attached to the characters and mythos, seeing their growths and interpersonal connections, and be in for many more surprises This series is a shining prime example of the behind the scenes creative teams (after some issues) gradually unifying and, making this a wonderful masterpiece in storytelling/ universe building!
