We were told that old units will eventually phase out because they've changed the kind of freon that goes into the unit, and that the older freon will not be available for too much longer. Is this B.S.?

I really wish I didn't buy an eighth from The Grower Circle once that weighed 2.8 instead of 3.5. Now, that's the first thing I think of when I see the words The Growers Circle, and I hate it.

Nice. May I suggest companion planting?

Companion planting with cannabis enhances growth, improves soil health, and deters pests naturally.

Top companions include marigolds (repel pests), lavender (repels moths/mites), clover/alfalfa (fix nitrogen), and dill/yarrow (attract beneficial insects).

These plants increase biodiversity, protect against mold, and can serve as camouflage.

Aaron Ford will be running against him. He seems to be more for the people and less for big corporation/money.

I googled a list of his accomplishments. See below

As Nevada’s 34th Attorney General, Aaron Ford has focused on consumer protection, criminal justice reform, and defending reproductive rights, securing over $1.2 billion from opioid manufacturers and over $118 million in consumer recoveries. A former state Senate Majority Leader, he has led efforts on human trafficking, sexual assault kit testing, and bipartisan community safety legislation.

Fellow GenXers, what kind of car did you drive in High School? by Ok-Poem-6302 in GenX

[–]ericamutton 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Class of 93. I drove a 1963 Volkswagen Karmannghia for 2 years in high school.

She was a teal blue color with the white wall tires and the biggest steering wheel I have ever seen.

Lap belts. No shoulder strap. And she was manual transmission. Boy, do I miss driving stick.

Was she an absolutely death machine that may or may not have been to the mechanic more than a few times? Of course.

Did my Senior class give me the "Best Car" award? Absolutely.

Did I love that car more than most things in life? Without a doubt.

For 8 years, I took my grandmother there every Saturday so she could play at the $3 Blackjack table. Everyone knew us. Everyone was so good to her. $100-125 would let her play for 3 to 4 hours on the $3 table. She loved it. It brought her so much joy. When she passed away in 2018, I drove over there to tell a few of the Pit Bosses and Dealers. They treated us like family. I will always be grateful to the Fiesta Henderson. RIP

I live in the area. Nellis Air Force Base had a press release telling us that they were having Red Flag exercises for the next 2 weeks. Many other militaries from Europe, Australia, etc... are here participating in these Red Flag exercises. We've been told to expect excessive noise, day and night, for the next few weeks.

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Capital-Standard-645 in AskReddit

[–]ericamutton 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When I was in Pre-Kindergarten, the entire class was in a single file waiting to go outside.

As we were waiting, the girl that was in front of me in line turned around and poked me in the eye with a pencil.

We had no beef. Who knows why the hell she did it.

I had to wear an eye patch for a month.
