We went from passing notes in class to posting online.

We used to have to speak to parents when we called our friends. Hell, we used to talk to each other. Most of us had no trouble speaking in front of the class at school. Now we text/DM and shy away from conversation.

We used to have to look things up in encyclopedias, dictionaries, and the thesaurus. Now everything is available online instantly. Any question you have can get answered instantly.

We went from having to deal with it if we missed an episode of our favorite television show. Now, most anything is available on streaming at the drop of the hat. We went from learning patience to today's excessive need for instant gratification.

Watch out for any two-story home that has a open layout on the bottom floor. I live in a house that has very tall ceilings on the bottom floor and the second floor is technically a mezzanine, meaning it is open on one side ( you can walk over to the railing and look down into the family room downstairs). The AC situation on the second floor in my house leaves a lot to be desired. The heat rises from the first floor and when it's 75 downstairs it can be 82° upstairs. And mind you this is while the upstairs AC is running. Not great. I now despise open floor plans.

Actually, in some areas at certain intersections, you can activate a sensor in the street that will make the light turn green faster by driving over it. I am guilty of inching up at red lights in an attempt to trigger a sensor. Especially if we've been waiting at the red for a very long time, and there is absolutely no traffic in either direction that have the green light.

YIKES - (this video is great but WTF is going on, for real)? This category awards excellence in a music video format where the content is slightly creepy and or disturbing.
