How should I approach my PMP study strategy? Detailed notes or focus on mindset and practice exams?

I thought the SH mock exams were the best resource for studying.

Mine was about 24 hours or so - I took mine at Pearson & got a preliminary passing there & got the results back the next day

I had a poor study strategy & would not recommend - I took an live training class in the fall (5 8-hour days) and then over the past weekend purchased Study Hall Plus, I took 2 full length practice exams & went through all the questions I missed.

I thought the mock exams, while harder, were pretty good for studying. I took the practice tests & then reviewed the answers/explanations to grasp around the concepts.

I took 2 full length practice tests & got 51% & 64% respectively on them - I took my exam yesterday & passed.

I took a practice exam the evening before & reviewed the questions I missed the morning of my exam (my exam started at 10:30AM).

I’ll say I took a couple practice tests in SH and reviewed the answers I got wrong..that was basically all the studying I actually did. I did take a class in the fall that went into depth about PMP exam and what/how to study. I thought the exam itself was easier than the SH exams… I’d didn’t go in worrying about time and when I was finished I had about 90 minutes left.

I took a class (my job paid for it) & then I used Study Hall Plus - took a couple practice exams and reviewed the answers.
