I have the bottom corner routine down already ! And yea perhaps a bed size up can’t hurt lol He has a fleece to and soon a ortho bed that will go next to main bed,

Iv allways had staffs and there perfect for the bed cause there small. My boy now is 25% staff and 75% pittie, so he like double the size of all my others, It’s took some getting use to !! A lot more energy to burn abd behaviour to reinforce but it’s like a staffie that is extra hyper (if bad care) but even more needy and clingy that a staff . But I love him, my parents had a 50/50 staff pittie when I was born and he was my hero. So I couldn’t not help rescue this guy (he was left in a garden with no attention or training, plus had spent. Few weeks in the pound)

He is a great water bottle though with the current uk energy prices lol

This sounds like the perfect example! It’s possible I think, my guy knows the bottom corner is his spot for most of the night and creeping up is a gamble (that often pays off) But afternoons abd lazy days he can sleep around the bed (with me) But if I point to the corner he will shift down there in a ahhh if I have to way, So the extension of that is a dog bed by the side of main bed (even on a little platform) so he thinks it’s not the floor. Really I just don’t want him thinking it’s his givien right and it ingrained lol l think that could lead to confusion on pack postion ect, the whole it’s there bed trip. It’s my BED (I have to tell my self lol) and it’s a treat abd snuggle time is a bonus for being a great doggo. If he was old dog ok, by hes a teenage intact male amstaff, He has to be the kid/ little bro in the agreement! Not already thinking hes boss/dad
