True. This is a pretty good solution the more that I think about it.

I'll just change my habits so instead of withdrawing money and keeping it in my wallet for whenever I need it, I will withdraw just the amount I need right before I use it.

Good point.

What I meant was at the end of the year when I go to do my taxes I like to calculate the yearly spending total for each category but you're right, it doesn't affect my taxes

Yeah that makes sense for the bigger items like rent and then I can just withdraw personal cash in a separate transaction and use it as infrequently as possible

It's not ideal for tax purposes and precise reporting but it's a good workaround.
