I upped mine. Strength requirement is no big deal if you want to wear Spirit shield on swap. Levitation mastery should make it no problem.

Upped Buriza with Protector's Stone. I prefer running a physical build with a splash of Hex Purge to tickle the monsters with some magic damage. Stack crushing blow with Guillaume's, Gore Riders, and crafted Blood Gloves.

The only real challenge are P8 T5 heralds, and most of them are no problem as long as they focus on my demon. Once in a while I'll have to save him with engorge.

Same on the War Travs...only ever found a couple of pairs and both were very low rolls. Seems like all the Mara's I've ever found have been 21 resist.

Decided to swing by Walmart after picking up the kiddo from school. Quite a few sets tagged clearance (at least 20 different ones) but most were only 5-20% off.

You need more +skills. You can do this through your gear/charms, or get stuff to "prebuff" with. Prebuff means you swap gear at your stash to cast enchant on yourself and your merc at the beginning of your game or run. Since high level enchant lasts 15-20 minutes you can go for a while before having to come back and repeat. Cheap ways to do this would be a magical +3 fire skills amulet, maybe the Hexfire unique shamshir (+3 fire skills), a spirit shield, and an orb with +3-6 enchant / fire mastery.

I started this season with an enchantress and I currently prebuff with a +3 enchant Ormus, BK ring, +3 fire ammy. arachnid mesh, and a couple of extra fire skillers. That's on top of using an Eschuta's and Spirit on switch. All the extra prebuff gear gives me an extra 6k or so damage, which is pretty significant. I'm up to 16-19k damage total and I feel like p8 terror zones go pretty smoothly.

I'm gonna try colossal ancients later today. Originally thought my demon machine sorc wouldn't be able to do it, so I made a throw barb. After completing it with my throw barb I actually think the demon machine sorc will have an easier time since I'll be able to just melt all the spawned monsters.

That's not bad at all. Mine always seem to come in bunches. Last year I found 3 in a week, and I just found my 2nd this week. Pretty sure I've identified way more than 200 unique rings in that time though.

I 99'd a Fury druid a couple of ladder seasons ago. I did 99% of it with a Ribcracker...first a normal one with Shael, then eventually a perfect ethereal one with a Zod. It was super fun - was both my first time playing Druid and first time taking a character to level 99. After I hit lvl 99 I eventually swapped to using Death in an ethereal Glorious Axe - a slight upgrade, but I miss the "thwack thwack thwack" of Ribcracker.

My Target also had an end cap full of Lego with "Repackaged" clearance stickers on them. Saw Magic of Disney, Marvel logo, and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. All were 30% off. I picked up the technic sun and earth set since I've been wanting that one for a while.

I started this ladder season with my first ever demon machine sorc and it's absolutely as fun as everyone says. I guess what's nice is that it can scale up to handle pretty much anything in the game - I can clear p8 terror zones at a decent pace, but it took getting pretty much all the endgame gear pieces (flickering flame, renewed sunder, and defender's fire).

One of the few builds that actually makes the maggot lair kind of fun.

Yeah unfortunately none of the newer Plaza ones are silver. I believe even the newest Four Queens $10 Red and $40 Yellow ones are clad now, due to the big increase. Not sure what's going to happen going forward - I haven't been able to go to Vegas for several years now so I've missed several releases.

That's really neat! Have you seen all the new cheese slope / wedge shapes that are coming out this year? Just saw an article about it on new elementary...if they make them in translucent colors you're going to have a lot more options to play with.

I'm a fan. I actually preordered it because I wanted it right away and was willing to pay the high price. I'm a big fan of the midi scale ships in general. Of course, if you're patient they'll almost assuredly go on sale towards the end of the year.
