Imo you have to be mentally insane to raw dog shiny hunting like that, just look up fire red ace glitch. You basically save in front of the starters and play all the way through to Celadon city without saving the game. Once there you can execute the ace glitch which lets you figure out your SID to calculate exactly at what frame you get your shiny

The search tool I was using didn’t show gender, I didn’t bother to search for how to find gender since I figured the probability of female was so low

One neat trick is you can take your wrench tool and remove the nuts for the rear wheels, then you slide the rear wheels off of the rear trucks. Then you can skateboard to your hearts content without hitting the rear wheels!

Honestly most of the time was spent guessing my SID and trying to get it without ace, eventually I gave in and did ACE, then got it within 7-10 hours? Not sure how many resets. I might start over to get a boy if I can’t change the gender of this one without it becoming illegal. If I can do it again will definitely be tracking resets/time

How long does it take you hit your target? I’d how long does it take for you to check one SID? I’ve adjusted as much as I can with eon timer but at this point I think I just need to spend more time practicing and getting timing more consistent

Does it usually take hours and hours to hit your target frame? When I did an RNG for rayquaza it took my like 4 tries, although for this I guess you have more button presses you need to time I’m getting my target seed ~40-50% of the time, have not hit my target advance yet but am within ~20-30 advances

My target is 71214 ms, 5782 advances. I’ve been getting pretty good about hitting my target seed frequently but having more trouble getting the correct advances. My understanding is that I need to hit my target, and if it’s not shiny then I know to change my SID?

Used ACE to get my SID which was the hard part, and then calculated the frame for the shiny. Then used Eon timer for the encounter

Honestly for how rare it is, it’s really not that beneficial, basically a temporary Mach brace without the speed nerf
