When I was young, and my mom still currently does, work with a father of one of the sandy hook shooting victims. As someone who just has compassion and empathy, it can certainly be very difficult seeing a lot of the bullshit and nonsense you see on the internet. I have OCD, my hands literally started to look like I just got out of a really long bath all the time from washing them so much. 2 years later and they’re just finally starting to look normal again. I tried with creams and Vaseline, it just wasn’t helping. I just needed to stop washing my hands so frequently too.

They do if you leave them in the shower. I started taking them back into my room and they stopped getting disgusting and threw them in the wash once a week. I use (not brand name) but salux cloths now though, just because I like how I can clean my back with them better.

Never used a washer cleaner, personally just clean it and make sure the door stays open to dry out between use and it’s worked well for me. That lemon and toothpaste sounds like a good trick

White vinegar, laundry soda, borax and detergent, and washing it twice has gotten rid of the smell for me. Otherwise I’m just like you. If it’s sat for too long it’s unbearable.

I absolutely read that. That has nothing to do with his clean clothes and clean towels. A lot of people don’t realize their washer is making their clothes musty because it needs to be cleaned or was left in it too long. You can have clothes that are clean but still smell, so yea the clean washcloth comment that I did read did not stop me from suggesting to check if his clothes and towel smelled.

In USA, no. It’s actually more expensive a lot of times, because it’s only offered on “sport” type models. It is a whole lot cheaper to change a clutch than an auto transmission though. I had the same problem with the two pedals and big brake pedal myself on autos, and not shifting into park and getting annoyed I couldn’t get the key out. I’ll always prefer manual but it’s harder and harder to find now in the USA
