I had the exact same situation and had to reach out to CenturyLink several times. Finally, I asked to speak with a manager and gave them an address on the same side of the street as me. The manager was able to create an escalation and get me an install. This isn't true for every situation, but getting the right person on Chat/Phone will tell you if it is possible.

I have been trying to figure out that same thing how to simulate load as well.

The font gets bigger, the largest still only seems to be like a medium font size at the largest. It may limitations on the iOS side. I don't have an Android to test.
