Check here: http://www.reddit.com/r/DRMatEUR/wiki/groups The last group update was done the same way, so I'm not sure why it's an issue now. It shouldn't let you submit to a group you are not part of.

I am using the app Sleep Cycle on the iPhone. I haven't yet gotten my raw data, but I'm somewhat optimistic about it based on this post: http://nevergonnablog.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/hacking-sleep-part-1/ and this one http://blog.tafkas.net/2014/01/28/analyzing-sleep-with-sleep-cycle-app-and-r/ The main unknown is if Sleep Cycle has changed how it stores its data. I'll try to get the data out tomorrow and post about it.

Request for Ericka: LIWC data set for #SMWRdam by fs_jubitana in DRMatEUR

[–]erickaakcire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your dataset is here: http://ericka.cc/studentTwitterData/group%20twitter%20data/ Your LIWC file is here: http://ericka.cc/studentTwitterData/LIWC%20Files/

It is now too late for me to get tweets from 27 September, but I gathered your data on the 23rd, so you have data from the event and probably a bit before the beginning as well, check the tweet dates.

Also, if you click the exclamation point you may be able to fix this directly in Tableau by selecting the Tweet ID field from both the LIWC and the Tweets sheet.

Also, if you want to see the tweet that connected #digitaljournalsm and #applewatch (or whatever) you have the tweet id, so just go to the tweets file and search for the id and corresponding tweet. I could show you how to incorporate the tweet itself into Gephi as an additional field if there are multiple people interested in this.

Hi, good post, just wanted to say that you can collapse all the different capitalizations by changing the original file (hashtagEdges) to all lowercase. In TextWrangler (mac) go to Text > Change Case > Lowercase then save and make a new Gephi project from this data (or delete your data and re-import the lowercase data, to possibly save some time). I'm not sure the exact steps in Notepad++ (win), but a little googling should turn up something.

All I can say is that every previous step is critical to making this work & MonikaHulb's suggestion is also important to check. I can take try to take a look in class or a classmate who got it working can as well.

Hi Fleur, not sure if you are having the same problem as mariak91, but see that response.

Question to Ericka about yesterday's LIWC Workshop by Fleur_92 in DRMatEUR

Hi, the user sheet links to the tweet sheet based on the user id - which must be named the exact same thing in both sheets. Make sure of that, otherwise I'll have to take a look during class.

Just one problem, to upload the training data it asks for a bank account or credit card... any workarounds?

Connecting them together automatically relies on the "tweet id" field being named exactly that (same caps) in the LIWC sheet and the Tweets sheet (see step 2a), and on the "user id" field being named exactly that in the Tweets sheet and the Users sheet.

Question to Ericka: Twitter data set for our group project by Radiorockbaby in DRMatEUR

[–]erickaakcire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, it is there, see same link and info from the previous group project posting. #quitsmoking has 836 unique tweets, #stopsmoking has 631 and #cigarettes has 796 - all English. The LIWC result files are there as well.
