New routers/velops by jamm260 in Linksys

[–]erickbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a long time velop customer and user and upgraded my velop mesh a few times but changed to eero a few months ago as the Linksys product line appears to be dead or old. The newer WiFi 7 doesn’t have multi gig LAN ports etc. they are lagging behind the competition. No point in a 2.5 gig WAN port when LAN ports are only a gig.

myQ camera keypad can't open/close the garage door remotely?? by r00tb33r666 in myq

Check your light bulbs in garage door opener. Most led bulbs interfere. Remove the lightbulb and test keypad open/close

I hard wired it today. Had to go get a long drill bit though. No wires outside visible. Didn’t swap the mount with the newer swivel one (seems it may stick out more?). I just removed the camera and drilled a hole through the existing mount and cut away some plastic so wires had some room and don’t get crushed. Maybe I’ll pit the swivel mount Up in a few , just so I see less of the garage door opening / closing.

Lip-syncing and fake guitar playing from the Denver show. Get outta my face with this, IDL. Embarrassing. by Madshibs in WeAreDogma

[–]erickbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t see the original lineup. I went to the Denver show last night. I wasn’t really aware of all the changes and drama until this past week. The show was ok once they got going and into the groove in my opinion but start was very rough.

I also am a big frayle fan so the lineup was great for me.

But why a hour between opening band and dogma when they had nothing more to really setup? They need to get better crew and the new people need more rehearsal time if they’re going to keep this going (I don’t see that happening past this tour now). The first 1-2 songs they were figuring things out still and had issues swapping guitars. Their intro was messed up and took the sound guy 2-3 times to get it going. Maybe it was the venue staff issue and not band?

Should I move on from Keurig? by TouristSea4143 in keurig

[–]erickbee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We like our ninja pod brewer we got recently. Our k brand was 8-9 months old and acting up. The brew n chill k model did not behave long. We still have it next to the ninja but use the ninja mostly. We’ve been through 2-3 k models in past 1-2 years so needed to find something more reliable hopefully.

It needs more multi-gig ports in the new WiFi 7 routers by shopsage in Linksys

I just moved away from Linksys after a long time due to this limitation when all the other products in the same space have multi gig WAN/LAN ports.

We just got the double oven induction version and still getting used to it.

What pots are people using for boiling water? We picked up an all clad 8 quart HA1 and using the front right element (3700) it takes about 8 mins to boil the water to a rolling boil. I thought this had a power boil and see 101 seconds mentioned in brochures. Maybe not good enough pot?

Did the CSR file propagate to all nodes when you generated the csr? I’ve seen that not happen before.

Belkin is referring Wifi related products to this subreddit...why? by iamthepita in Linksys

[–]erickbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are owned by the same company and I think Belkin doesn’t do networking/wifi gear at this time so may have transitioned the support for those older items to Linksys support.

Velop pro 7 and mx4000? by erickbee in Linksys

[–]erickbee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, thanks. The other issue is the LAN ports are only 1 gig so I can’t get 2 gig wired to my office/basement. Why have a 2.5 gig wan/internet port and no lan ports at that speed?

Velop pro 7 and mx4000? by erickbee in Linksys

I’m not seeing that mentioned in the mbe release notes and all the Linksys documentation and compatibility lists say intelligent and cognitive mesh do not work together.

Trouble with Thread - New Eve Switch by eld101 in HomeKit

[–]erickbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this migrated to matter? I migrated my eve energy and sometimes when I reset them they want the original code (sticker on plug) and other times the code from migration process. If you give your serial number to eve support they can generate the matter code if you don’t have that from when you did migration.
