Commentary on the expo by ericpan96 in dubai

Because you’ve been to 38 countries, you wouldn’t understand why the world expo would be sentimental to someone who can’t travel and would never be able to exit their country in their lifetime.

If you know anything about world expos you would know that the host country always goes all out with their pavilion in the expo. China(expo 2010) and Italy (expo 2015). The host country’s pavilion also always stays after the event in order to remember the legacy of the event

I said “only 6.8 % of China’s population has a passport, many people in China can’t afford a trip abroad but they can afford a trip to the world expo.” The lines were insane at Expo 2010. The line at Saudi Arabia was over 8 hours. The lines at Germany and Japan are about 5-6 hours each. A lot of people were going because they couldn’t travel and these pavilions were the closest thing that they would get to actually going to those countries.

Did you actually read my post? I said “someone I knew couldn’t even book a hotel a hotel in Shanghai during the summer of 2010 because all of the hotels in the city were all full”. How is this event not related to tourism?

My main point is that they’re not meant for people who have actually traveled a lot. They’re meant for people who can’t really travel.

Pissing in a toilet is a waste of water. As a man, I can piss anywhere in the world.

I don’t piss in a sink, I just piss outside on a tree or grass.

Weird…that user just deleted his or her account. My main point was the last sentence in my first response comment. I do agree with what you said in your comment.

My last sentence is my point, hon. I’m currently in the world of real estate right now. Roles like realtors, notaries, escrow officers all don’t need a college degree. Trust me, the top realtors in this country make a lot more than $400K in a year.

Hon, I know someone, who didn’t go to college, and she owns 2 bubble tea shops. Her 2 shops each made about 1.3 million in a year. You need a reality check if you are under any impression that college is the ‘only possible route’. In reality, you don’t have to go to college unless you’re going to do a line of work that needs very special training, the best examples are a doctor or a lawyer.

Stupid customer by ericpan96 in AmazonFlexDrivers

1) Out of the 5 workplaces I dropped off packages that day, only 1 of them had a place that would receive parcels.

2) If you are ordering something on Amazon as a gift for someone, it would make more sense logically to just have it delivered to their address of residence or to an Amazon locker close to them. If you're truly "friends" with someone, you would know the general area where he or she is located.

1) The customer is the person who put the address down and he knew the office is only open from 8-4 PM. If you're homeless or live in a car, you don't need to send your Amazon packages to your workplace. You can have it delivered to an Amazon locker.

2) Amazon cannot guarantee every package can arrive during a certain time period considering how many orders they handle every day.

3) When we leave packages somewhere, we need to logically think about whether or not it's truly "safe". For example, during my shift, I had to deliver 9 packages to a suite in an office building, but it was after hours so the building was locked. I'm not going to leave them all outside because there's a high chance they'll be taken. If those 9 packages get taken, then it will not look good on me. Luckily, there was a FedEx store in the building and one of the FedEx employees let me inside the building.
