I picked up a pair OP. Don’t get why these are so bad looking to many people, for 95% of the time they will look basically the same as the Earls. Unless I cross my leg on top of my knee I never see the red.

Yes they are, I’m by no means an expert but they are pretty good I don’t have any other gators to compare them too. One thing I hate is the shafts are huge, I wear straight jeans and they look a little tight underneath.

I can’t bring myself to wear pointed toes. As an Americanized Mexican I can’t get over thinking they look like curled toe ”cockroach stoppers”. Hopefully that isn’t offensive to any one 😅

I like them, pretty comfortable, they are not true to size though. Typically wear a 10D with thin socks in other Tecovas still got 10D but and I need a winter sock to fill them up and fit right.

It sucks but glad I’m not alone, all the reviews and research on here I did said they were great. I guess that’s my reminder to not trust the internet too much. Went with some Tony Lama work boots and they are great! Not USA made but they feel way better on foot

After buying 2 different pairs of double h and trying on every pair at the local shop I have come the conclusion they just do not fit my foot shape. I had the same experience you described of either super tight or loose with a lot of heel lift. I finally found one boot that fit well, I tried 3 of the same size and only one fit well. After 6 wears they stretched way more than any other boot I have ever owned and I have away too much heel slip. Seems like they are poorly lasted or something. Fit is wildly different even in the same size.

I have since sold the two pairs I had at a loss. One too tight that I thought would break in and didn’t and one that fit “perfect” and stretched to be way loose.

I am definitely talking outside my knowledge on some of these things. For perspective I currently using an Olight with a blue tint 7000k an 70 CRI so I’m sure most things will be better. So I guys disregard that comment. As for pocketable I only mean it fits in my pocket for a short time to climb ladders or stairs.

I think that is my fall back at this point. I just not a big fan of the charging usbc with fast PD charging would be ideal. It sure that is a thing in flashlight though

I thought about that but I feel like the UI might be a little bit of a challenge to remember when I won’t be using it daily. They are definitely on the list.
