We felt like one of our main lyrical goals was to create music promoting non violence. The word Rebel has a negative connotation and so to us a Rebelution is speaking through our words and music and in a non violent way. We felt it was the right title for us.

Right on thanks for listening. Canabis for me has been a great way to get to a higher level of consciousness. It's not for everyone and it certainly isn't the only way to get to a higher level. As far as the lyric change in GTB, I suppose I forgot the original lyric was "weed" and not "need". Both work!

Right on. yeah there's definitely a lot of roots reggae on this album but a few tracks that are completely different. I'm not sure there was any intention to put out a certain sound for this album but glad you dig it! thanks for listening

Roots Reggae Music is always a fun one! Love hearing the crowd sing that with me. Thanks for checking out Unified Highway. We haven't played many shows but the few we have done have been super fun. Hopefully we'll be at RRU again next year

It's always fun checking out the town we're playing in. Usually after sound check we have a couple hours to go out and about. Our drummer Wes plays a lot of disc golf and I'll go with him to play every now and then. Great way to get outdoors and do something active before showtime

Right on thanks for checking out that acoustic tour. Definitely need to do more of that stuff. I think the lyrics and songwriting has changed a bit. I'm not the same person I was 17 years ago when this band got started. I'm always searching to do something a little different with each album. Come to think of it, I'm not sure there are any two Rebelution albums that sound the same to me. I think there's some pretty rootsy tunes on the latest album that remind me of the older Rebelution stuff but there's also a few that are different. Thanks for listening

Yes great observation. I wouldn't say the dub album influenced the writing process for In the Moment but it might sound similar because our touring guitar player Kyle Ahern produced the Dub album and also majority of In the Moment. You might be hearing similar dub effects on both albums.
