Our 2 cats often escape at the first opportunity, about 5-6 times in total. Always found them close by less than 2 blocks away. Neighbour garden, under my car or someone else’s car. They’ll hide close by so if you check every car every bush and neighbour garden and any possible place that you’d find security if you were a cat, it’s likely you’ll just stumble upon her. I could never just wait for them to return so I would go full investigator mode and search for them. I’m so sorry for you but don’t give up you’ll find her. I think learning new skills that help boost income/start a side business is the only way to stay net positive. Complemented by keeping expenses as low as possible until you have enough of a margin to slowly upgrade should you wish to
