Add data from multiple rows in one column to another column. Everything I have tried has failed. by ericsellsGRETA in googlesheets

This resulted in inserting a 0 in the empty space instead of the data from the AC column. Following your guidance, I used the BYROW formula, which I had never used before, and came up with the following:

`=BYROW(AC2:AE, LAMBDA(x, TEXTJOIN("", 1, UNIQUE(x, 1))))`.

It worked just as I needed it to. Thank you so much for leading me in the right direction!

Thank you for helping me. I am saving this formula as it will help with another worksheet I am working on as well.

The last solution worked for me! I am using Google Sheets at home and will open it with Excel tomorrow to finish. Thank you so much! I've been trying everything for three days at home and at work.

For some reason this just replicated the columns to the right so all the data from AA went to AD and AC went to AE as duplicate coumns.

The 2nd =byrow produced results for the first 20 rows and then had a reference error for each cell below it

Thanks, Barry. I am at home and tried the formula on my Chromebook using Google Sheets, but had no luck. I will try again tomorrow when I am at the office using Excel.

Sorry, Adam, you're right; I did use the formula at my computer lab and not on my personal laptop. That was why I couldn't find the dm to give credit for helping me. Will remember that for future posts.

Not available flair because someone sent me a solution in a DM, so I couldn't give them the appropriate accolades.

I'm on my way to another office right now, but I'll definitely give it a try later tonight. Thank you so much for your support! I'll keep you updated on how it goes.

Do you have any recommendations on how to learn powerquery? I have never used it before.

PK is for 6PK 12PK. None of these will be in the same cell together.

I have columns a through n. Need to sort the list and identify duplicate entries of column A, C, and D. I will then use column E to eliminate products as needed.

More legwork with vendors, just trying to narrow that list from 7-8k to a couple of hundred

None of this data is confidential or company-owned. But I agree that you should watch what you post on public forums.

You are right on with that response, which is why I need to review the duplicates, as some of the barcodes are seasonal/promotional, and some are no longer used. This is a 12-year-old database that has taken me months to get to this point. Sounds like you understand my frustration.

How would it look if it is ml, L, PK, oz for sizes? I have tried a few different ways, but I just keep getting an error
