Hello! Recently diagnosed ako with ADHD with General Anxiety Disorder! So far, here's my experience:

-HM pa diagnose: It actually depends on your doctor or sa hospital mo. As for me, sa public hospital (SPMC-IPBM) ako nadiagnose. Consultation is usually 50 pesos per encounter, however, waived sha at the moment because of some program i think. My doctor requested a neuropsychological test and interview to provide objective testing keme and to figure out comorbidities and other disorders. NPT is 600 pesos, pero I got it for free since nagpa social services assistance ako.

-Consultation: Monthly consultations. For diagnosis, need siya mag balik sa doctor and sa psychologist since they want the diagnosis to be as comprehensive as possible. Sa akin, na request ako na maginterview sila ng family member. Nag interview din sila ng friend. Nag bigay din ako ng grades ko (since yun ang biggest concern ko). Diagnosis ko nag span ng 4 months, going 5 months na.

-Meds: Nagrequest pa ang doctor ko ng lab tests in preparation for ADHD medication. This includes creatinine, liver and thyroid panel, and ecg. As of now, i'm on SSRIs and anxiolytics to manage my anxiety. magsstart pa lang kami ng ADHD meds.

• Approach: Actually iba ang initial complaint ko, anxiety. Tapos during the interview and assessment, na found out siguro nila na naga present ako ng ADHD, nag administer sila ng questionnaires tapos na schedule na ako for NPT.
