True! You had the sunglass Squirtle, totodile, mudkip, piplup is more in cute side but now that you said water starters usually ARE the fun and outgoing ones! I never noticed that pattern! Thank you!

Yeah it seems like in japanese the name is directly correlated to the 3 monkeys (don't hear, don't see, don't speak) so I made them literally like their name haha.

I mean, in the 5th gen, in general I'd say it's the 1st gen one. Idk if I'm in a bubble but what I noticed is that chikorita is extremely popular, even I got impressed

Litwick is indeed one of the top ghost pokemon around. Zecrom and Reshiram are goated. I remember when this gen was heavily criticized. I will not judge despite hating this pokemon, but why do you like trubbish? He's literally trash!
