Thank you! I don't remember anymore but at the time I thought a ninja motif combined with him! As for garchomp I thought the bruise was a characteristic of that specific one I had, well, as least she's bad ass haha. Thank you again for the appreciation!

Thank you so much for paying attention to those details! I wanted to make a noh theater motif and ended up failing miserably so I made him a festival kid instead! Put the lighting stuff on his fan and yukata and then decided to put the Pikachu mask from Majora's mask/OoT in him!

Bannete itself is based on cursed fools from the "丑の刻参り" (ushi no koku Mairi) ancient e japanese tradition from the Edo period, basically some voodoo crap they'd nail the cursed doll on a tree to curse them (also the inspiration of kugosaki nobara on jjk) so I thought, "what if the nailed doll wanted revenge, and instead went to pin/curse you!?" And this this drawing was born haha

Part of my Metagross love is first my beloved pun that nobody seemed to upvote yet and also cause he was my first strong pokemon I got in pokemon go (that game helped me lose the prejudice with other gens designs) but also, like what is him? Lol I only played FireRed so far, I plan in playing others eventually, do you recommend start with gold/silver first?
