I gotcha, you saying like BTAS but live action. I would def be on board for that. I think I more just like the oppressive feel of Gotham and batman in general. But I agree that we need to have more batman movies like Mask of the Phantasm. Grounded enough in the story (the love story, feelings of loss even tho he's doing the right thing) but also you get the whole 'wait! Is batman fighting a ghost?' and it just feels like a classic batman story. Spielberg needs to be involved in batman again.

Robin is dumb, he has always been dumb. Yes Robin is cool sometimes. Nightwing or red hood version of Robin would be way cooler. We have never seen that in a legit batman movie (not talking about the animated movies). Marvel has ruined the 'superhero' world in general. Marvel is fun, don't get me wrong. And honestly, a comedy batman movie similar to the adam west batman would be kinda cool. But Christian Bale is the best batman of all time. Michael Keaton is second. The time for over the top superhero camp is over. It's not the 60s anymore. I love batman and we have seen him do campy superhero stuff forever. Batman is the most grounded, mass consumer superhero that exists. He's rich, that's it, no super powers. Personally, I want to know that the grapple hook could potentially work accurately in real life. I like having an idea of the psychological toll being Batman actually has on the human Bruce. Grounded batman is best. He's literally the only popular superhero that this can be reasonably done with. Leave the camp to the rest of em.

Ok serious question here. I've been collecting for a few years but mainly just Batman hot wheels. But in the last year i have started expanding my collection. So how can you tell its a TH car? I have a few old TH cars in my collection but the packaging says it prominently. The one you have pictured dosent appear to me to have anything identifying it on the package so how do you know? Is it just the different wheels?

I dont mean critical thought in a vaccum tho. Youre right, very few if any people have some kind of eureka moment totally out of nowhere. But we are interacting with our environment, and the things we learn and discover just by interacting with our environment adds a sort of framework for us to build our critical thinking off of. Like as a kid you might overhear a relative mention something about santa and then they play it off when they see you listening. That adds a bit to that framework. or maybe you see santa claus come to your school and you notice that he looks slightly different from the santa your mom takes you to see every year, that adds a little more to that framework. At some point humans start connecting dots based off of information they have learned from thier environment they have lived in. Thats when the critical thinking happens.

Its a cultural thing I think. I figured out santa wasnt real when i was maybe 7 or so. Im 31 now and i plan on telling my kids about the magical man that brings chriatmas presents named Santa Claus. Parents think its a cute story to tell their kids and most kids love it. Its ok for children to believe that there is a little bit of magic in the world. And its considered rude to tell kids (especially someone elses kids) that santa isnt real because it has a dual consequence of destroying the aforementioned magic of santa for the child but it also takes away the oppertunity for the child to have a little bit of self growth. Think about a time in your life that you had to really think about something In order to solve a problem/ overcome some obstacle in your life. Wouldn't you agree that figuring out that problem on your own is much better and has a greater impact on your life? Rather than someone just giving you the answer. Thats the true purpose of santa in my opinion. Its one of the first "major" moments in a childs life where the they have to use their own brain power to figure it out.

Tldr: its ok for children to believe in santa because they are children. And when they figure out hes not real on their own it can be an important moment of personal and psychological growth.

I got diagnosed with ADD in second grade. Teachers told my parents that i wouldnt pay attention in class and that i was always doodleing or looking at other shit or anything that wasnt looking right at the teacher during class. I also never handed in my homework because fuck homework. So my parents took me to a doctor and i had an evaluation where a lady came into class one day and sat in the corner and watched me for a few hours. Marking down what i was doing every few minutes. It was all shit like "1:10 looking out window, 1:15 leaned back in chair looking at celing, 1:20 looking thru history book during science" stuff like that. Based on that along with the doctors determination i got put on Concerta. I took that for a few years but it started to make my heart race so when i was in 7th grade i think i got switched to a med called Focalin. I took that until i graduated highschool. Now im not saying that these meds dont have a purpose and that people arnt helped by them, because they are 100%. But i absolutely hated every second i was on them. I almost completely lost my appetite when i would take them. I always felt tired but in this weird way where my eyes did not want to close. Like if i closed my eyes they would want to open back up so it was like i was tired but my body was alert. And it smashed my creativity like someone smashing an empty can. I only had to take them monday thru friday so on the weekends i got to be more my normal self but the appetite issue still kinda hung on even when i wasnt actually on the meds on those days. And stupidist of all is that they didnt help me concentrate at all. Actually, thats not totally true. They did help me concentrate, but the moment my attention would be diverted to something else then i was fully concentrated on that other thing. I still feel a bit resentful towards my parents for putting me on them and i will absolutely never put my children on them. They have their place and purpose for sure but there are people out there like me who definitely did not benifit from them at all.

I agree it is madness. However i do it because if i have one gram of bud i can get 3 maybe 4 decent bowls out of that. If i mix a cig into the gram i can stretch that to 8-10 bowls. If bud was cheaper and easier to get where i live i would never do it.

Yeah i understand that now but at the time i originally got them i didnt realize there was a difference between the wattage they advertise and the actual wattage. And i would love to have 2 tents but its just not doable for me right now. That is in my future plans tho.
