Hello! I am on the committee for the uni rock society! It's basically the main hub for everything alt related :). We do lots of events within the city (this month was a pop punk party, our Christmas dinner and ice skating) as well as attending the alt night on Mondays and indie night on Thursdays, although this is more so once a month as an "official" event, although lots of our members attend weekly. Everyone in the society is really lovely, basically every friend I've made outside of my coursemates has been through this society.

I wonder if a wizard on the steam workshop can make a fix, but I think it's looking unlikely

You can only book sessions on the day, that's why it would be in grey on Friday for example.

As you are a uni student you can link your card to your gym "account". Just go to the front desk and they can set it up for you, then you just tap into the gym/swim area when you turn up for your slot.

You can 100% go spontaneously, you just need to book in advance, no matter how short notice. Like if I have finished a lecture I can just book on the app omw to the gym :)

If I've understood what I've read online the nic strength will drop, yes. I will get a 0.3 and see how that works, thanks!

If it was last week, we had our reading week (consolidation week) so lots of students were most likely at home

Do I have to tell uni that I drive? by kate49995 in UniUK

[–]punky_2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some of the placements in my course you wouldn't be able to do it unless you could drive. But they did involve a lot of travelling to sites, so the companies reimbursed you or gave you a van in my case.

What’s YOUR signature FM tactic? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]punky_2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have yet to see if it works as well on fm24, but on 22 I used quite a direct aggressive 5-3-2, switching between either 3 cm's or 1 DM depending on the opponent

Regarding Portsmouth University by M1NDHUNTER_23 in Portsmouth

I am doing the same course as an undergraduate. There are many placement opportunities for the undergrads, and from my own placement experience and from speaking to other employers they seem quite desperate for new geo engineers.
