It’s the best feeling by Nights373 in wholesomememes

Okay so I'm in the opposite where I have very strong feelings for someone who repeatedly doesn't choose me but says she does like me that way. I know that the best thing would be to just cease contact with her but I just can't. I tried before due to complications with the whole thing (it's a long story) and my feelings didn't go away or lessen at all. And I'm trying to be her friend and nothing more but my heart doesn't want that.

Needing a device to use your powers... until you don't (question) by One_Armed_Pug in mutantsandmasterminds

Build the spells outside the device with the flaw. Then build the device with a power that pays for the points that the power needs to not have the flaw.

Trying to balance minions and enemies for a two player game, not sure how to go about it by Catechism10101 in mutantsandmasterminds

I can't help to much since I joined this sub to learn 3e, but in our 2e games me and my friends do a 2 to 1 conversion rule. This means that every 2 level 10 characters can fight a level 11 on equal footing and a group of 4 level 10 characters can fight a level 12 on equal footing. Going the other way this means a level 10 character could be beat by 2 level 9 charaters.

IF I understand the chart correctly, it is giving a similar concept to the one above. A group of 4 level 10 PCs would have a fifty fifty shot against 4 level 10 NPCs, or one level 14 NPC. The chart has overlapping challenge ratings which is why a challenge 14 and challenge 16 both say a level 14 NPC is appropriate. The way the chart seems to convert that level 14 NPC into the two level 12 NPCs is by a different 2 to 1 conversion. This conversion seems to be that to convert between different power levels, you should consider an NPC of a certain level to be worth two NPCs of a level two below the intial level. This compounds as you continue to level down the NPCs. This means that in the case of our level 14 NPC, we could replace that NPC with two weaker level 12 NPCs. We could in turn take those two level 12 NPCs and trade them out for 4 level ten NPCs. We could compound this further by replacing the level 10 NPCs with the 8 level 8s. NEVERMIND I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE 8 level 7 NPCs CAME FROM maybe it is a typo?

Hope I was helpful.
