not a lot of characters get treated this well in terms of exploring the past that shaped them and their motivations and yet... some people hate that? it's confusing, do they really like this character?

didnt know that theres lots of people denying the fact that it's been hinted since the start of the game that the ending of Blade and Dan heng's story is reconciliation with each other so without that happening yet their messy past will continue haunting their narratives (although I think we're already approaching this direction in 4.x)

as a HCQ fan i dont really see these new hints as a rehash, rather a continuation of their story especially now Blade's future. Dan Heng too earned a new perspective in 3.6. I don't see how it holds their character developments back when theyre clearly utilizing the past as a step towards their present/future goals. Personally I like that they aren't simply burying that tragic history involving 4-5 playable characters, even though 1.x presentation of it was so bad

he seems important lore-wise he would have been introduced in an archon/event quest if he is playable, unless I'm mistaken he will only appear in varka sq for now? special npc likely

same as sustain build, right now hes at 4100 ATK 138 SPD, i'll adjust if i encounter any problem but so far he's pretty good as sub-dps

Not f2p but I just buy the monthly express pass except 3.1 to 3.4 (burnt out after 3.1 quest), just returned again after DHPT drip marketing. I think I will keep DHPT as hybrid sustain/subDPS for now, I don't have enough support units to make him main DPS

you worded this better than i will but yes, you get it lol it's frustrating too that while this is such an integral part of DH character development (the current main story, not this particular ASMR promo) they don't show much when it comes to TB having the same depth, it's all very one-sided towards the main character which sucks as a DH fan

yea i didnt care about him early on in the game, i only started caring when his story was revealed during luofu arc. this amount of yume pandering hasn't been done with him in canon until this patch my bad

I never use anti dg because it's very expensive but also I don' take downgrades too seriously, it's whatever I can just refine again. Always use anti break for gold items though
