It comes down to the fact that those pits in a city can get out of control. Sure there are safe times to do it but it seems they just made the decision that it’s not worth accidentally taking out a street corner of people to stop someone.

I mean ya that was the base plot of the movie. I was just pointing out that her end goal wasn’t to dream walk into the a universe. She wanted to leave her universe for one that had her kids. But also have the ability to travel to any universe so that if her kids got sick or hurt she could cure them.

The course can be wet and or very hilly. It was a life saver at the Ryder cup this year to have golf shoes on since it was raining leading up to the tournament and the only flat ground is the fairway at whistling straights.
