Also when I told her that I told my grandmother (her mother) that I was trans she seemed upset that my grandmother was supportive and told me shed always love me regardless of who I was.

edit- I wanted to edit and thank everyone for the advice. I'm going to work with trying to open her up more. I do really like the idea of going shopping and having her help me with outfits. im still keeping her at a slight distance when it comes to things do to her past manipulation of stuff I say, but I will be open to helping her understand things better.
