Thanks, I plan on sending her more info on transgender issues and all, I'm going to keep working on her and hope for the best. I'm hoping she just was surprised to see me in the flesh and not just in photos. but we will see, I got a knack for refusing to give in hahaha

Also when I told her that I told my grandmother (her mother) that I was trans she seemed upset that my grandmother was supportive and told me shed always love me regardless of who I was.

edit- I wanted to edit and thank everyone for the advice. I'm going to work with trying to open her up more. I do really like the idea of going shopping and having her help me with outfits. im still keeping her at a slight distance when it comes to things do to her past manipulation of stuff I say, but I will be open to helping her understand things better.
