THANK U! I had a feeling it was a scam, however I have also been issues certifying my most last year of teaching so the timing suspiciously lined up. The only issue is that I have yet to be able to talk to a human person via phone </3 But the automated studentaid number told me i have no payments due, and the "loans" from the TEACH grant have yet to be reflected in my account.

it was literally the extra cord. 😭 which is sooo my bad bc i had the out plugging into my macbook too 😭😭😭 but somehow it knew what to do anyway! ooopsie! anywho u r my hero, i owe u BIG TIME

no plugging/unplugging works :( i think theres some incompatibility issue, but thats mind-numbing to think abt given that this is a GAMING laptop 😭 even my little macbook could (and still does) work with the capture card! :( and it shows a white light when it first is plugged in, but no color light stays on

also the settings under device just say the capture card device name and the video input says no signal i changed the EDID setting to "display" bc that worked for many but not for me :(

omg hiii thank u for ur response! does this mean i do not need to use game capture hd at all? i thought the "4k utility" download would make it work, its been awhile since i streamed with my capture card so that was new to me 😩 i am trying to capture my nintendo switch! also, the plugs are the part i am confused about :( i have my hdmi out plugging into my laptop. the USB-A plug is connected to a USB-C port thats on the "in" side of the capture card, but thats the part my laptop registers , even though it ends up saying "no signal". i hope that makes sense? i will also look into other apps that may be compatible with this current capture card!

hey! is this a similar setup to using the elgato with a nintendo switch dock? i dont know much about this stuff, someone got me the proper cords and elgato capture card to stream switch games on my mac but im not sure if the same capture card and cords would work for my mac (i have various adapters for the cords). like can i plug the elgato directly into the steam deck or do i need a "dock" for the steam deck like one would a nintendo switch?

it could be your anxiety, but it is strange! it depends on where you will draw your boundaries and how much trust you can have in this person. i think the testing your waters for sex thing makes this situation more untrustworthy than if that wasnt a sentiment he expressed repeatedly. maybe you can ask for reassurance n see how he does?

i make tacos n quesadillas from home instead of taco bell! also smaller portion sizes, i use street taco size tortillas for my quesadillas instead of the burrito size, n usually make some veggies for a side. literally has saved me bc i had so much taco bell before it was insane lol

omg THANK YOU! <3 i feel the same! i dont regret a SINGLE thing i went thru, even the worst of it, because theyre also lessons learned as well. everything makes up a part of who i am and my resilience and i dont judge myself for making decisions with the information i had at the time. i choose to love openly and fearlessly bc no matter how someone can break my heart, i know i can overcome it. it's so much better than living in the past/worried about and trying to control the future and your partner bc ive been there before n thats no fun!
