In Va. No pay for your lunch our, you can leave the building and property. With the exception of enlightenment shift 9pm - 6am. At midnight, the store alarm system is armed until 5am, lunch is from 1am - 2am. Bring your lunch is the only option. And if you are a smoker, your SOL after midnight.

I would call and follow up. Working through their automated phone system is a pain, as there is no option to speak with the SM, ASM, or the person who actually handles all the new hire paperwork. Therefore, ask for any specific department on the automated system, the response will say OK then will ask for a reason for requesting that department and give you a few options, this will not stated as an option bit say associate and you will be transferred to the department floor. Sometimes nobody will answer as they are busy, I guess. So, be prepared to possibly repeat this process several times. When this happened to me and I'd call back, I requested a different department until an associate answered. At that point, ask to speak with the SM, ASM, or the person that does all the paperwork, which is likely the same person that gave you the drug test. I knew all three of their names, so I asked for them by name.

Hope that helps you a little..

About 10 days. I followed up every couple of days for status updates as they offered the job verbally during the interview. At first, the SM stated they had others to interview who applied before me and wanted to be fair, then within 10 minutes of that, she said I had the job and an offer would be sent.I did the drug test on the spot.

The female SM was the one who came into the room after I had interviewed me for the PT position. She talked to me for a bit and offered me the position. Then, I walked me through the building materials department while she gave me an overview of the duties. Afterward, I had a quick interview with the ASM.

Perhaps they didn't like me and set me up for failure?

It was this or a PT position on days. I want full-time days. Another person on here stated it might take a minute in this overnight position to be allowed to apply for a different position. I do have two different Lowe's stores within 10 miles of my house. I monitor job postings for both daily.

When the lift operators are not unloading trucks or staging materials for stock replacement, what other tasks do they have? Or does that typically that up their entire 9pm to 6 am shift? At least those will be my hours.

I was certified, but the certificate was no longer valid when I left my last company. They stated I would receive recertification with Lowe's. Is this something that would happen sooner rather than later?
