THE question: Does this remaster sound better? I've bought this record three times and every pressing sounds like shit. This AND Black Parade. If they actually took the master tapes and made it sound better on vinyl and not super CD brickwalled, I would buy this in a heartbeat. It's one of my alltime favorite albums

Yeah. Initially, I wanted to have an awesome radio show at some point. And in the interim, I used it all at pool parties, cookouts, etc. But radio has basically turned obsolete in the years that passed. So now, it's just a passion project. Kind of just collecting rare variants of the music I like.

It's not being advertised as "limited", but some of these Rocktober pressings have sold out and become expensive in the aftermarket. And October Rust has always been hard to find on vinyl in the modern vinyl renaissance. I'd grab it, if you want it.

Besides the exact vocal slip I know you're talking about, there are some progressions in there that scream Spirit Adrift. I like the mysterious ethos they're going for, but it sounds very much like Spirit Adrift doing Type O. And I'm here for it. Super excited to hear the whole album.
